The Earths Superfood

What's up peoples? 

The last week has been crazy busy with making bottles of Real Shine, Fly Bye, and our new human hair product REJUVE, and shipping it back East. This week I want to talk to you about the amazing superfood coconut!

Mother's milk is considered the most perfect food on the planet for human consumption. The closest match to mothers milk is  found within the coconut. Coconut oil is rich in healthful saturated fats, known as medium chain triglycerides. The body actually metabolizes these triglycerides instead of storing them as fat. This makes coconut oil fully digestible even for those who have had the gallbladder removed. Coconut oil is the most stable of all fatty acid sources. This stability is very important, because it reduces free radicals,, the cause of aging and some disease. In a whole coconut oil increases our energy levels due to its easy digestive process. 

Coconut oil and mothers milk are both rich in lauric acid. Lauric acid is converted in the body to monolauren. Monolauren has super powerful antibiotic, antiviral, and anti-fungal properties. This makes coconut oil one of the best foods to eat during times of stress. 

Medium chain triglycerides are known for their amazing ability to speed up the healing process by destroying dangerous microbes and by enhancing cellular metabolism and tissue repair.  Coconut oil is also stress-reducing when applied to the face, temples, and scalp. 

Coconut oil moisturizes hair and scalp and enhances texture and highlights in hair while eliminating dandruff. It keeps the skin and connective tissue strong and supple. Coconut oil also protects the skin from free radicals, therefore helping to prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

Another very important factor when choosing coconut oil is to make sure it is UNrefined and VIRGIN. The UNREFINED virgin coconut oil has not been heated to very high levels, nor has it been filtered and had the smell eliminated. 

The problem with the refined version is that they heat it to very high levels and filter the coconut oil and remove the smell. This destroys all the valuable enzymes and reconstructs the components of the coconut oil. Therefore,  taking away all of the benefits of using it in the first place!

All of our products contain a large amount of VIRGIN UNREFINED coconut oil, including:            Real Shine,   Fly Bye, and    REJUVE. 

I hope this helps educate why we use this ingredient so heavily,, and why you will see it more often in future feed and other products.
