These are Poems by one of the Earn Purple Crew Jade Jenkins!
The first time dad said pick one,
until the last when I will say I'm
done.
Its the feed, and the need,to be on that lead.
Its the late nights
drenching,and the last minutes quenching.
The walking, andjockeying.
The check in,until the holding pen.
Its upon when we arrive, that we all
strive to be in the grand drive.
Its worth it all, when the announcer
makes the call.
Of your name during the game, and you have all the fame!

Passion for the Purple
We arise after very little shut eye,
Just for that grand prize.
We breed and feed,
Each animal for certain needs.
We search and hunt,
And sometimes even take the runt.
We then walk and run,
But not just for fun.
We have one thing on our mind,
And that is to not be behind.
But rather the leader of the pack,
With all of our tack.
We weigh, and pray,
We are broke in a class to play.
Then it's showring time,
Where you better get them drove on a dime!
Cuz we are all searching for the purple, and the chance to stand in that circle!
