H20

Hi friends!
Lets talk about H20

With the warm weather approaching, it's more important than EVER to be conscious of your animals water. Water is so important to the health of your animals-- they need water to survive. They can survive longer without food, than they can without water. So it is imperative to keep their water full and clean.

First off, for your sheep or goats, you should have no more than two per pen, and you should have no more than a five gallon bucket for their water. Also make sure that the water is kept in a shaded area away from direct sunlight.

The second thing is to check their water at least twice a day to make sure its full.

The next thing to do each day is to make sure its very clean. Dirty water buckets can harbor bacteria, that's why its important to keep the water very clean.
The best way to check your water is to get a cup, and scoop out a cup full. If you yourself would not drink the water, then it needs to be changed.

Make sure when you change the water-- you dump it out, and scrub the bucket well before filling it back up.

Keeping your water clean, full, and cool will ensure your animal stays hydrated, and healthy. In turn, will keep them on feed.
If you have any questions please feel free to leave them below in the comments. Thank you for reading!

Have a great day :)

With Love,
